Opinion of Victim of a Crime

I was a victim to an armed robbery. A teen came to my house and demanded to be let in then he pulled out a gun that was probably his father's, tied me to a chair and stole all of my jewellery. He was tried and found guilty but was only tried as a youth and sentenced for 1 year with a bail of $15 000, he was told to go to rehabilitation while in the Juvenile Detention Centre. I think that he should have given back what jewellery he didn't sell and pay me back the money he did get from selling my jewels. I also believe that he should not have been granted bail and he should have been sentenced for longer than just one year. Therefore I think that The Youth Criminal Justice Act is unfair.
